คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี จัดการอบรม “วิศวกรสังคม” ให้แก่นักศึกษาใหม่ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนก้าวเข้าสู่การเรียนรู้ในระดับอุดมศึกษา และเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับบทบาทของนักศึกษาในการเป็นกำลังสำคัญของการพัฒนาชุมชน ท้องถิ่น และสังคม
ในโอกาสนี้ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ธาตรี คำแหง
คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี
ให้เกียรติกล่าวต้อนรับนักศึกษาใหม่ ชั้นปีที่ 1 พร้อมให้ข้อคิด แนวทางการเรียนรู้ และการปรับตัวสู่ชีวิตในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัย โดยเน้นย้ำให้นักศึกษาใช้ช่วงเวลาในมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างมีคุณค่า พัฒนาตนเองทั้งด้านวิชาการ ทักษะชีวิต คุณธรรมจริยธรรม และการมีจิตสำนึกในการรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม

การอบรมครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากร จำนวน 2 ท่าน ได้แก่

ร่วมบรรยายให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับแนวคิดและกระบวนการทำงานของ “วิศวกรสังคม” ซึ่งเป็นแนวทางสำคัญในการพัฒนานักศึกษาให้มีทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์ การตั้งคำถาม การสื่อสาร การทำงานเป็นทีม และการนำองค์ความรู้ไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาในพื้นที่อย่างสร้างสรรค์
เรียนรู้แนวคิด พัฒนาทักษะ สร้างนักศึกษาคุณภาพ
ภายในกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้บทบาทของวิศวกรสังคมในฐานะผู้ที่สามารถมองเห็นปัญหา เข้าใจบริบทของชุมชน และสามารถออกแบบแนวทางการพัฒนาได้อย่างเหมาะสม โดยใช้ความรู้ ทักษะ และกระบวนการคิดอย่างเป็นระบบ เพื่อสร้างประโยชน์ให้แก่ชุมชนและสังคมรอบตัว
การอบรมดังกล่าวยังเป็นการส่งเสริมให้นักศึกษาใหม่เกิดความมั่นใจในการเรียนรู้ การปรับตัวเข้ากับเพื่อน อาจารย์ และสภาพแวดล้อมใหม่ของมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงสร้างแรงบันดาลใจในการเป็นนักศึกษาที่มีความรับผิดชอบ มีจิตอาสา และพร้อมพัฒนาตนเองอย่างต่อเนื่อง

กิจกรรมอบรม “วิศวกรสังคม” นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งกิจกรรมสำคัญของคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ ที่มุ่งเน้นการพัฒนานักศึกษาให้มีความรู้คู่คุณธรรม มีทักษะการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่ 21 และสามารถนำศักยภาพของตนเองไปใช้ในการพัฒนาท้องถิ่นได้อย่างมีคุณภาพ

Learning the Role of a “Social Engineer” for Community and Local Development

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized a “Social Engineer” training program for first-year students to prepare them for their transition into higher education and to enhance their understanding of the important role students play in the development of communities, localities, and society.
On this occasion, Assistant Professor Thatri Khamhaeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University, delivered a welcoming address to the first-year students. He shared valuable guidance on learning, personal development, and adapting to university life, emphasizing the importance of making the most of their time at the university by developing academic knowledge, life skills, moral values, ethical awareness, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
Social Engineer Training
The training program featured two distinguished speakers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences:

Assistant Professor Ayab Sadadkhan
The speakers provided insights into the concepts and working processes of a “Social Engineer,” an important framework for developing students’ abilities in critical thinking, questioning, communication, teamwork, and the practical application of knowledge to address community issues creatively and effectively.
Learning Concepts, Developing Skills, and Nurturing Quality Students
Throughout the program, students learned about the role of social engineers as individuals who can identify problems, understand community contexts, and design appropriate development approaches. By applying knowledge, skills, and systematic thinking processes, they can contribute meaningfully to the well-being of communities and society.
The training also aimed to strengthen students’ confidence in learning, help them adapt to new friends, lecturers, and the university environment, and inspire them to become responsible, volunteer-minded individuals who are committed to continuous self-improvement.
The First Step Toward Becoming Graduates Who Serve Local Communities
This program marks an important beginning for first-year students as they embark on their academic journey and prepare themselves to become future graduates dedicated to serving and developing local communities in accordance with the mission of Rajabhat universities.
