โดย ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.โกวิทย์ พวงงามตัวแทนมูลนิธิส่งเสริมการปกครองท้องถิ่นบรรยายพิเศษเรื่อง“การส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการปกครองท้องถิ่น”
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.กิจฐเชต ไกรวาสจากมหาวิทยาลัยวลัยลักษณ์ร่วมเสนอมุมมองเชิงวิชาการเรื่อง”แนวคิดพื้นฐานของพลเมืองและความเป็นพลเมืองในการปกครองท้องถิ่น”ช่วงบ่ายวิทยากรโดย อาจารย์พงศ์เทพ แก้วเสถียร และ อาจารย์ปานเผด็จ นวนหนู มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี แบ่งกลุ่มแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็น(1) ข้อเสนอแนวทางการส่งเสริมความเป็นเมืองในสังคมไทย (2) ข้อเสนอแนวทางการมีส่วนร่วมของพลเมืองในองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น
โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างกระบวนการเรียนรู้การส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการปกครองท้องถิ่นไทยอย่างยั่งยืนของนักศึกษาและชุมชนท้องถิ่น ยกระดับความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในการจัดกิจกรรมสัมมนาเพื่อยกระดับการส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการปกครองท้องถิ่นไทยอย่างยั่งยืน ภายใต้ความร่วมมือของศูนย์บริการวิชาการท้องถิ่นและเครือข่ายชุมชน คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ กับ มูลนิธิส่งเสริมการปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น และสร้างความตระหนักในการเข้าใจและฝึกปฏิบัติการจัดการความรู้เกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความเป็นพลเมืองกับการมีส่วนร่วมในการปกครองท้องถิ่นไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
A Seminar Project on Enhancing Civic Engagement and Participation in Sustainable Local Governance in Thailand, under the collaboration of the Local Academic Service Center and community networks.
On 24 July 2025, at the 3rd Floor Library, Chalermprakiat 84th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University, Assistant Professor Thatri Khamhaeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar project on enhancing civic engagement and participation in sustainable local governance in Thailand. The project was organized under the collaboration of the Local Academic Service Center and community networks of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in partnership with the Konrad Foundation for the Promotion of Local Governance, with distinguished guest speakers.
The special speakers was delivered by Professor Dr. Kowit Puang-ngam, a representative of the Foundation for the Promotion of Local Governance, on the topic “Promoting Citizenship and Participation in Local Governance.”
Associate Professor Dr. Kittachet Kraiwas from Walailak University shared academic perspectives on the topic “Fundamental Concepts of Citizenship and Civic Engagement in Local Governance.” In the afternoon session, speaker Pongthep Kaewsathien and Panphed Nuan-noo from Suratthani Rajabhat University facilitated group discussions, where participants exchanged ideas on: (1) proposed approaches to promoting citizenship in Thai society, and (2) proposed approaches to enhancing citizen participation in local administrative organizations.
The project aims to develop a learning process that promotes citizenship and participation in sustainable local governance in Thailand among students and local communities. It also seeks to strengthen academic collaboration in organizing seminar activities on enhancing citizenship and participation in sustainable local governance in Thailand, under the cooperation of the Local Academic Service Center and community networks of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in partnership with the Foundation for the Promotion of Local Governance. Additionally, the project aims to raise awareness and foster understanding, as well as practical knowledge management skills related to promoting citizenship and participation in sustainable local governance in Thailand.
