เมื่อวันพุธที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2566 เวลา 09.00 น. ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ธาตรี คำแหง คณบดีคณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ และคุณนัฎฑิญา เกิดสมบัติ นักวิชาการศึกษา พร้อมรับนโยบาย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัฒนา รัตนพรหม รักษาราชการแทนอธิการบดี พร้อมด้วย ดร.พลกฤต แสงอาวุธ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาและเครือข่ายศิษย์เก่า เดินหน้าขับเคลื่อนบริหารจัดการ โดยเน้นนักศึกษาเป็นศูนย์กลาง ( Student Center Management : SCM ) ณ ห้องประชุมราชพฤกษ์ 4 ชั้น 3 สำนักงานอธิการบดี มรส.

รักษาราชการแทนอธิการบดีฯ กล่าวว่า หัวใจสำคัญ คือให้ความสำคัญกับนักศึกษา ให้นักศึกษาประสบความสำเร็จด้วยศาสตร์ที่เป็นรูปธรรมภายใต้แนวคิดการสร้างวิศวกรสังคมเป็นตัวอย่างเป็นต้นแบบให้กับมหาวิทยาลัยในขณะนี้ซึ่งเป็นที่กล่าวถึงในวงการศึกษาอย่างมาก วิศวกรสังคมเป็น soft skill วิธีการพัฒนานักศึกษาที่เน้นเชิงบูรณาการประสานองค์ความรู้สู่การสร้างนวัตกรรมพัฒนาชุมชนท้องถิ่นอย่างยั่งยืน และวิศกรสังคมคือแนวปฏิบัติที่เห็นภาพอย่างชัดเจน ผมพยามยามให้การศึกษามีความโดดเด่นในวิธีต่างๆ โดยในช่วง 4 ปี ต่อจากนี้ไปอยากให้ความสำคัญกับนักศึกษามากยิ่งขึ้นไปอีก ให้เป็นปีทองของการพัฒนานักศึกษาอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น โดยตั้งชื่อว่า Student Center Management : SCM การบริหารจัดการที่เน้นผู้เรียนเป็นสำคัญให้ความสำคัญต่อการพัฒนานักศึกษา ให้นักศึกษามีประสบการณ์ตรงในสถานการต่างๆโดยเฉพาะสาขาวิชาที่เรียน โดยปรับหลักสูตรจัดให้มีการเรียนการสอน 12 สัปดาห์ และจัดให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ประสบการณ์และสถานการการทำงานจริงอีก 4 สัปดาห์ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาเป็นไปตามสมรรถนะหลักสูตร และการขับเคลื่อนต่างๆจะต้องผ่านกระบวนการวิศวกรสังคมทั้งอาจารย์และนักศึกษา

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is ready to implement the policy of Assistant Professor Dr. Wattana Rattanaprom, Acting President of the University, in driving administrative management with an emphasis on students as the center of all operations under the Student Center Management (SCM) approach.

On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., Assistant Professor Thatri Khamhaeng, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, together with Ms. Nattaya Koedsombat, Academic Officer, attended the policy briefing led by Assistant Professor Dr. Wattana Rattanaprom, Acting President of Suratthani Rajabhat University, along with Dr. Polkrit Saeng-awut, Vice President for Student Affairs and Alumni Network. The meeting focused on advancing administrative management under the Student Center Management (SCM) approach, which emphasizes students as the center of all operations. The event was held at Ratchaphruek 4 Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Office of the President, Suratthani Rajabhat University.

The Acting President stated that the key priority is to place importance on students and ensure their success through practical and concrete knowledge under the concept of developing “Social Engineers,” which currently serves as a distinguished model widely recognized in the educational sector. Social Engineering is considered a soft skill development approach that integrates knowledge and innovation to sustainably develop local communities.

He further explained that Social Engineering provides a clear practical framework for student development. Over the next four years, the university aims to place even greater emphasis on student development, making it a “golden era” of concrete student advancement through the Student Center Management (SCM) policy. This learner-centered management approach focuses on providing students with direct experiences in real working environments, particularly in their fields of study.

The university plans to adjust its curriculum structure to include 12 weeks of classroom instruction and 4 weeks of real-world work experience. This approach is intended to ensure that students achieve the competencies required by their academic programs. In addition, all university operations and activities will be driven through the Social Engineering process involving both lecturers and students.
